Manufacturing Manager (Plastics)
Job title:
Is responsible for the development and improvement of processes, tools and equipment of the Manufacturing systems, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes.
Your role:
Provide technical support to the project team, including DFM (Design for Manufacturing) for part, tool design and material recommendations.
Establish and control the budget for New Product Introduction, sustaining and continuous improvement of existing manufacturing methods, processes and equipment.
Drive activities related to sustaining and improving process yield, product design changes, cycle time improvement, cost, and safety.
Responsible for the collection and analysis of factory data, validating and determining priorities and action plans based on the results for production.
Lead tooling troubleshooting, process optimization & defect resolution for both dimensional and cosmetic improvement.
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ensure that the molds produced are designed for longevity and reliability, with the highest standards for ease of service and maintenance of molds.
Actively work to reduce production loss due to tooling and molding quality issues accomplished through proactive maintenance management techniques.
Develop and maintain positive team member relations centered on mutual trust, dignity, respect, fairness, consistency, two-way communication, and teamwork.
You're the right fit if:
Possess a Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Plastic Tooling & Molding Technology or equivalent.
Min. 7 to 10 years hands-on experience in the plastic injections molding industry for thermoplastic, LSR, two-shots molding and ISBM.
Knowledge of ISO9001 quality management systems, ISO 13485 preferred.
Quality mindset and familiar with risk assessment tools like FMEA.
Must possess good communication, technical analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of UG-NX10 or SolidWorks, PLC and automation equipment.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
