Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a public holding company that focuses on food and beverage manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop Long-Term Operational Plans: Formulate comprehensive long-term operational strategies by taking into account both strategic and operational aspects, including team development and the business expansion of the company.
- Drive Business Strategy and Process Improvement: Analyze and integrate information from various departments to design efficient and innovative operational strategies. Propose and implement improvements in manufacturing processes through lean production methods, optimized supply chain models, and the integration of technology and automation.
- Foster a Collaborative and Productive Work Culture: Design operational policies and work closely with other departments to cultivate a performance-driven culture supported by effective incentive systems.
- Evaluate Operational Performance and Project Effectiveness: Monitor performance by comparing actual results with KPIs, targets, and quality standards. Assess the success of strategic projects (e.g., expansion or efficiency initiatives), including budget adherence, timelines, and achievement of business goals.
- Lead Strategic Decision-Making and Risk Management: Provide strategic direction by identifying growth opportunities, ensuring regulatory compliance, engaging stakeholders, evaluating strategy effectiveness, and managing crisis situations or major industry changes.
- Oversee End-to-End Business Unit Operations: Hold full accountability for managing the company business unit, including strategic and operational planning to meet production and quality objectives.
- Plan and Supervise Business Projects: Design strategies and oversee business projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely and successful delivery according to established goals.
- Implement Continuous Improvement and Quality Standards: Develop and manage continuous improvement programs (Kaizen), quality management systems (QMS), and workplace safety standards to promote a safe and high-quality work environment.
- Establish Risk Management Strategies and Policies: Formulate and implement risk management strategies and ensure the availability of necessary resources. Identify, assess, and mitigate business risks, while ensuring full compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant disciplines. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: 15–20 years of experience in production/manufacturing in food industry or similar, with a proven track record in senior managerial or divisional leadership roles.
- Core Competencies: Leadership, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), Project Management, Quality Management Systems (QMS), Problem Solving, Time Management, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), and Technology Adaptation.
