This position reports to

Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will develop and enhance software components for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Pulp & Paper solution. Your daily tasks will include implementing MES solutions in Pulp & Paper environments. The work model for this role is #hybrid. This position contributes to the Process Automation Process Industries in Indonesia, located in Jakarta or Surabaya. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing various software engineering tasks within your assigned area.
• Creating structured, maintainable code with appropriate documentation.
• Applying software architecture and design patterns to improve software quality, modularity, coupling, and cohesiveness.
• Managing customer project meetings and addressing customer issues.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT with 3-5 years of relevant software development experience.
• This position is open to local Indonesian candidates only.
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Oracle PL/SQL, MS T-SQL, SAP BO, and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of C/C++, OPC (DA, HDA, UA), PLC/DCS, and other OT interfaces is a plus.
• Experience with Pulp & Paper plants and MES Pulp & Paper processes is preferred.
• Strong active listening, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
