Job summary

Schneider Electric Batam is seeking a hands-on Manufacture Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, workstations, and capacity across our Batam site. You will lead time studies, ergonomics initiatives, and continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

You’ll collaborate with Production, Industrialization, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure cost-effective, scalable solutions and successful ramp-ups for new production lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing planning, or related industrial role.
• Experience with front‑end and back‑end PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work on-site in Batam.

Responsibilities

• Determine standard time for products using time‑analysis methodologies.
• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes and workstation design.
• Develop clear, standardized work instructions for operators.
• Lead productivity and continuous improvement initiatives within the area.
• Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to drive performance and lead-time improvements.
