Manufacturing Engineer (Plastics)
Job Summary:
Technical expert in tooling and injection molding. Serve as a technical expert to advise the engineering, project teams and production teams to ensure maximum product quality and manufacturability.
Your role:
Oversee daily production requirements including molding process and solving of issues.
Establish and control the budget for New Product Introduction, sustaining and continuous improvement of existing manufacturing methods, processes and equipment.
Conduct troubleshooting on part defects, process optimization and execute corrective actions.
Monitor and analyze molding defects to improve the quality and production efficiency.
Prepare the work instructions and comply with molding parameters records for all products.
Liaise with toolmaker on mold repair, modification, and improvement.
Provide technical support to mold and machine maintenance within the molding department.
You're the right fit if:
Possess a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Plastic Tooling & Molding Technology or equivalent.
Min. 3 to 4 years related experience in plastic injection molding industry for thermoplastic, LSR and two-shots molding.
Must possess good communication, technical analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in 3D CAD software e.g., UG-NX10 or SolidWorks and automation equipment.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
