Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking a Mandarin Curriculum Manager to lead localization and implementation of a new Mandarin language program in Indonesia. You will adapt materials for Indonesian learners, maintain international academic standards, and coordinate teacher training, QA, and operations across learning centers.

The role requires on-site work in Pluit, North Jakarta, with regular travel to centers for training and observations, supporting a January 2027 program launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mandarin Education, Chinese Language, Linguistics, Education, or related discipline.
• HSK Level 5 or equivalent Mandarin proficiency, with strong reading, writing, speaking and listening.
• Minimum 5 years in curriculum development, Mandarin education, or academic management.
• At least 3 years in a strategic, senior, or managerial academic capacity.
• Direct experience teaching Mandarin or developing Mandarin curriculum for children or young learners.
• Strong understanding of child pedagogy, instructional design, and second-language acquisition.
• Experience in teacher training, classroom observation, and quality assurance preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong bilingual communication skills in Mandarin and English.
• Strong project management, leadership, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Attention to detail and consistency of academic standards across multiple centers.
• Willingness to work fully on-site in Pluit, North Jakarta, and travel to centers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Localize, review, and adapt Mandarin curriculum, lesson plans, teaching materials, and student assessments for Indonesian learners.
• Develop age-appropriate worksheets, resources, interactive teaching materials and activities aligned with objectives.
• Conduct curriculum research and recommend improvements based on educational trends and second-language acquisition best practices.
• Ensure materials are suitable for different ages and learning levels.
• Plan and deliver teacher training programs, workshops and coaching sessions for Mandarin teachers.
• Conduct classroom observations and center visits to evaluate teaching quality and curriculum implementation.
• Provide constructive feedback to teachers to improve teaching effectiveness and outcomes.
• Monitor curriculum implementation across centers and ensure consistency with standards.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders and local operations to prepare for program launch.
• Gather feedback from teachers, students, and parents to identify areas for curriculum improvement.
• Prepare curriculum documentation, SOPs, training manuals, guidelines and reports.
• Support development of academic QA systems and standards for the Mandarin program.
• Coordinate project timelines and ensure milestones are met before launch.
