Job summary

SME Careers, a fast-growing AI data services company and a subsidiary of SuperAnnotate, seeks an hourly contractor to review AI-generated responses, generate language content, and provide expert feedback to ensure accurate, logical results across prompts.

You will apply senior-level Chinese (Mandarin) localization judgment alongside strong English proficiency, supporting QA workflows and editorial quality across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Translation, Linguistics, Localization, Communications, or related field.
• Native or near-native Chinese (Mandarin) proficiency and strong command of China locale conventions.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency for interpreting prompts and guidelines.
• 5+ years of professional localization/translation experience.
• Demonstrated ability to apply MQM/LQA concepts to produce quality decisions.
• Proficiency with CAT tools and QA workflows and comfort with structured guidelines.
• Excellent editorial judgment with attention to detail.
• Ability to fact-check localized content using reliable sources.
• Comfort working as an hourly contractor across time zones.
• Experience with AI data training / annotation / evaluation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI Training Content: Create detailed prompts in various topics and responses to guide AI learning.
• Optimize AI Performance: Evaluate and rank AI responses to enhance the model's accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance.
• Ensure Model Integrity: Test AI models for inaccuracies or biases, validating reliability across use cases.
