Pemberton Stewart is looking to hire a talented Managing Director into our market leading Commodities practice. The desired skillset is as follows:

• Candidates with 3+ years of recruitment & search experience or relevant experience within commodities trading, broking, operations, logistics or trade administration.
• Specific experience either working in or recruiting for the Commodities markets across Asia, Africa or Europe.
• You will have strong sales ability with keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrable understanding of Financial Services and/or Commodities.
• You will be a team player as well as having the ability to work autonomously when required.
• Strong ability to network and be credible when presenting in front of senior individuals across financial markets and commodities.

Duties would include, but not be limited to:

• Build a comprehensive candidate and client network within the commodities markets across financial institutions, trading houses, utilities, oil majors and hedge funds in APAC, Middle East and Europe.
• Originate new business within the above company segments with a particular focus on Gas & Power markets.
• Building a comprehensive and detailed set of market reports and maps in the Gas & Power market sector that will form the basis for discussion when pitching to clients for business globally.
• Maintaining up to date market information covering all the relevant teams in the major institutions and firms within the commodities market in APAC, Middle East and Europe.
• Executing on mandates, preparing search reports and screening relevant candidates.
• Providing consistent and high-quality candidate ideas and identifying the best talent in the commodities market globally.
