Job description

At Inofarma, we’re on a mission to revolutionize healthcare in Indonesia. Our goal? To build the largest, innovative pharmacy chain that enhances the health and well-being of communities across the nation. We’re delivering accessible, affordable, and high-quality medicines paired with expert pharmaceutical services, all while creating a brand that Indonesians trust and love.

As we take this ambitious journey of growing to 1000 stores, we’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Manager, Visual Merchandising to shape the look and feel of our retail spaces—bringing our brand to life and ensuring a consistent, engaging customer experience across our nationwide network. You will play a key role in developing and executing visual merchandising strategies, leading store displays and layouts, and upholding brand standards so that every store inspires, attracts, and serves our customers with confidence and style.

Your Role
  • Concept & Layout Design: Lead the development of engaging store layouts—planograms, gondola arrangements, island placements, counter positioning, and customer flow dynamics across different store formats.
  • Execution & Aesthetic Integrity: Oversee implementation across pilot and open stores, ensuring that the real-world visual execution maintains the intended aesthetic quality—balancing spacing, sightlines, lighting, brand visuals, and product zones.
  • Creative Campaign & Display Development: Work with our creative teams and our commercial clients to design attention-grabbing display concepts for product launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns, window displays, and in-store hot-spots, aligning with brand tone and customer journey.
  • Tool & Documentation Management: Partner with space management (planogramming) teams leveraging tools like Nielsen Spaceman / Leavio, etc.; coordinate with operations, procurement, and marketing teams to maintain alignment with functional, commercial, and logistic constraints. Work with the space management team to maintain the library of store plans and rack visuals.
  • Brand Consistency & Standards: Develop visual merchandising guidelines tailored to pharmacy operations—ensuring consistent brand experience across locations, from store entries to critical aisle zones.
  • Store Opening & Roll-Out Oversight: Lead visual and layout execution for new store launches and refits, ensuring readiness of fixtures, displays, signage, and aesthetic flow prior to opening
  • Performance Monitoring & Iteration: Monitor customer responses, sales data, and store performance; lead refinements to layouts or visual elements to enhance appeal and effectiveness without compromising brand identity.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Visual Merchandising, Communication Design, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in visual merchandising or retail space design—preferably in health, pharmacy, beauty, or FMCG sectors.
  • Layout and fixture design (gondolas, displays, counters)
  • Promotional or seasonal display execution
  • Familiarity with planogram software and store layout software
  • Proficient in spatial planning concepts, customer flow, and visual storytelling within retail environments.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; able to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented problem solver with a keen sense for balancing creative vision and operational practicality.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly, collaborate with stakeholders, and do experimentation.
  • Proficient in English communication (verbal and written).
