In the Manager, Health, Safety & Environment Manager (Professional Path) role, you will oversee the Site Health, Safety & Environment Management System, ensuring goals are met through self-directed work and effective oversight. You will create and implement comprehensive health, safety and environmental programs to prevent workplace injuries, illnesses, and environmental accidents. Additionally, you will inspect workplace and HSE incidents in accordance with company procedures, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. You will identify areas for improvement, develop and manage training plans for environmental and employee health and safety, and maintain relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the organization’s HSE performance. Your role will impact to the Site Health, Safety & Environment performance and success, requiring Health, Safety & Environment management, advanced problem-solving, effective communication, and industry-specific knowledge. All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. Compliance with regulatory requirements, Corporate and other applicable standards, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations.
Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university in Occupational Health & Safety (HSE), Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline. 5 years of HSE experience in a multinational manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in an HSE Manager or equivalent leadership role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively across all organizational levels. AK3 Umum (AK3U) certification is mandatory. Proven experience establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving HSE Management Systems in accordance with local regulations and international standards. Demonstrated experience in developing HSE governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Strong experience leading regulatory compliance programs and interfacing with government authorities, including reporting, inspections, audits, and compliance submissions. Proven capability in conducting and reviewing risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) programs. Experience leading internal and external HSE audits and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Demonstrated experience developing and delivering HSE training, awareness programs, and safety culture initiatives across all organizational levels. Strong leadership experience managing HSE teams and influencing site leadership to achieve HSE objectives.
Certified ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 Internal Auditor. Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, electronics, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries. Experience preparing reports and presentations for regional/global leadership teams. Experience engaging with external stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and government authorities.
