Job description

As a Manager Encaps, C&T liquids, you will deliver new products to the market and optimize and secure the existing portfolio. You will coach Development Specialists and Technical Sales Support (TSS) to deliver projects such as innovation, renovation, application development, value engineering, supply contingency, factory transfers, factory capex, sustainability, compliance, and technology development initiatives. Additionally, you will role out new and existing products to current and new customers. Part of your role includes acting as a Project Lead / Sr. Development Specialist for relatively complex projects and programs.

What We Ask
  • Minimum 6-10 years of relevant experience depending on educational level.
  • Minimum MSc in food technology.
  • Experience in innovation/R&D.
  • Ability to manage a cluster/(sub)department focusing on project execution and stakeholder alignment.
  • Knowledge of powder and liquid technologies and relevant applications; knowledge of the coffee and tea market is a plus.
  • Advanced project management skills with the ability to drive decisions.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Understanding of customer and market needs.
  • Team player.

Vacancy Description
  • Drive NPD and transfer projects to ensure all projects are delivered OTIF.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain to drive value engineering projects for cost savings.
  • Manage the ideation pipeline for new products and applications.
  • Oversee R&D resources and SG&A budget.
  • Participate as a member of the Management Team PT Kievit Indonesia to align on deliverables.
  • Member of the change control board at PT Kievit Indonesia, to assess and approve all change activities.
  • Manage raw material database and qualify alternative suppliers.
  • Manage local R&D SOP.
  • Build and maintain networks with external APAC customers and suppliers, including customer visits alongside TSS and Sales, to present and promote current and new products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders globally to enable successful project execution.
  • Advise the department leader on upcoming project gatekeeping decisions.
  • Lead and develop team members.
  • Improve work processes for efficient project execution.
  • Act as Project Lead / Sr. Development Specialist for complex projects and programs.
