Salary: $59.25 to $71.39 per hour

Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Director & CIO, the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for co-ordinating the Diagnostic Imaging Department and resources to maximize the effectiveness of patient care and service delivery and to ensure Diagnostic Imaging meets all regulatory requirements including General Radiology, Ultrasound, Ontario Breast Screening Program, Mammography, Echo cardiology and any other assigned portfolio. The Manager of Diagnostic Imaging will ensure members of the technical staff maintain the standards of practice of their individual regulatory colleges or associations and will lead the DI team in implementing patient and family centered services and managing the financial and human resources of the department.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • University degree in science or health care required
  • Diploma/degree in Medical Radiation Technology (MRT) strongly preferred
  • Member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging technologist of Ontario (CMRITO) Preferred
  • Member of Ontario Association of Radiology Managers (OARM) preferred
  • 5 years clinical experience working in Diagnostic Imaging
  • 5 years’ experience as a manager/supervisor required
  • Recent experience working in an acute care hospital preferred
  • Previous exposure/experience with the Ontario Breast Screening Program preferred
