Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1

Perform maintenance on all OSI mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical machinery, tools and equipment and ensure they are kept in good working conditions.

Ensure all daily, monthly, and yearly maintenance checklists are updated accurately.

Involve in the preventive maintenance system and to comply with the documentation

4

Maintain a proper spare part register to ensure availability of the spare parts.

Always maintain a high standard of housekeeping within designated area, which will include the upkeep of your machine and surrounding floor area.

Always ensure personal safety, and the safety of all others.

Familiarize with regular servicing vendors, machine manuals and the ordering process for spare parts and components.

Understand the basics in the use of welding machines, machine tools, hydraulic jacks, rollers, manipulators, and other operational equipment, to enable greater understanding during maintenance/repairs. Able to use the correct maintenance tool(s) for the jobs.

To possess basic knowledge of pressure testing equipment, to allow a greater understanding when there is a breakdown

Familiarize with the legal requirements on cranes and compressors.

Perform “Lock Out Tag Out” (LOTO) procedure, when required, prior to the completion of maintenance.

Accept and perform any additional work-related instructions/activities, to the best of his ability, as determined by the department supervisor/manager.

Ensure compliance with OIL STATES INDUSTRIES HSE Policies and HSE Management System.

Ensure compliance with OIL STATES INDUSTRIES Quality Policies and Quality Management System.

Part 3: Qualification Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

1

Minimum High School Certification.

Knowledge & Experience

1

Served a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent as a Maintenance Technician

2

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician

3

A qualified crane and forklift operator.

Personal Attributes

1

Be able to speak, read and write English.

2

Good organisation skills and be ready to work as part of a team.

Others

1

Undergo any additional training for new welding equipment.

Undergo mechanical and electrical training for any new machines in the production department.

3

Must be prepared to work on rotation shift (day/night), with reasonable amount of overtime as and when required.
