Job summary

A leading company in the coal mining sector in Indonesia is looking for a Repair Supervisor to manage the maintenance of plant equipment. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and the ability to lead a team in a dynamic field environment. Candidates will be stationed at the Paser East Kalimantan mine site with a schedule of 6 weeks on-site followed by 2 weeks off. Ideal candidates will have a Diploma in Engineering and experience in maintenance in mining operations.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years experience in maintaining and repairing plant equipment.
• Willing to work flexible hours.
• Experience as a Repair Supervisor or similar role.

Job description

• Min Diploma/Associate’s Degree in related Technical - Engineering
• Having min 5 years experience in Maintaining & Repairing Plant Equipment in mining operations
• Willing to work on sites in flexible/extended hours to meet the company objectives
• POP Competency is preferred
• Willing to be placed in our mine site Paser East Kalimantan with roster 6 weeks on-site and 2 weeks off (field-brake will be fully accommodated to POH/KTP)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly serviced & maintained for optimum performance of PA, MTBF, and MTTR and conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement
• To ensure all execution of scheduled & all maintenance tasks & repairs are safe, high quality, and efficient
• Lead & Manage a team of maintenance technicians and mechanics, including scheduling, and monitoring performance
• Manage the inventory of parts and supplies needed for maintenance tasks, including ordering new parts and supplies as needed
• Implement maintenance procedures and policies to ensure optimal performance of equipment and machinery
• Liaise with other departments within the organization to ensure timely and effective communication and resolution of maintenance issues
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness
