Job summary

Sandvik Ground Support Indonesia is seeking a Maintenance Planner to plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities. You will work with Maintenance, Production, QHSE, CI, and global teams to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor's in Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, at least 2 years in maintenance planning, and proficiency in CMMS and Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance planning or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in CMMS software and Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, P&ID drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willing to work in a rotating shift arrangement, including night shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules based on OEM recommendations and equipment history.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities, shutdowns, and overhaul programs.
• Manage maintenance work orders through the CMMS system.
• Maintain asset data, maintenance records, and job completion history.
• Coordinate spare parts and maintenance resource requirements.
• Prepare maintenance job plans, technical documentation, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Monitor and analyze maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, OEE, PM Compliance, breakdown frequency).
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, HSE, CI, and Engineering teams to ensure safe maintenance execution.
• Support maintenance improvement initiatives, digitalization projects, and reliability programs.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability, minimize downtime, and support operational excellence. You will work closely with Maintenance, Production, QHSE, CI, and global stakeholders to ensure maintenance activities are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules based on OEM recommendations and equipment history.

Plan and coordinate maintenance activities, shutdowns, and overhaul programs.

Manage maintenance work orders through the CMMS system.

Maintain asset data, maintenance records, and job completion history.

Coordinate spare parts and maintenance resource requirements.

Prepare maintenance job plans, technical documentation, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Monitor and analyze maintenance KPIs, including MTBF, MTTR, OEE, PM Compliance, and Breakdown Frequency.

Analyze equipment failures and maintenance trends to improve asset reliability.

Develop and maintain maintenance SOPs, inspection checklists, and documentation.

Collaborate with Production, Quality, HSE, Continuous Improvement, and Engineering teams to ensure safe and efficient maintenance execution.

Support maintenance improvement initiatives, digitalization projects, and reliability improvement programs.

What We're Looking For

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance planning, maintenance engineering, technical services, or related roles.

Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.

Proficiency in CMMS software and Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

Ability to interpret technical manuals, P&ID drawings, machine drawings, and electrical schematics.

Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Willing to work in a rotating shift arrangement, including night shifts when required.

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of PLC systems and control logic.

Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Lean Maintenance, and reliability methodologies.

Familiarity with RCA, FMEA, Pareto Analysis, and RCM principles.

Experience with maintenance digitalization, IoT, or Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Professional certifications in Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, TPM, Reliability, or CMMS Administration.
