Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to perform improvement and modification activities on factory machinery as directed by HSE. The role includes daily reporting, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety during operations.

Qualified candidates will have SMK in Mechanical Engineering, At least 2 years in manufacturing maintenance, and skills in operating lathe, milling, grinding and drilling equipment, welding, and basic civil work. Indonesian applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: SMK in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Industry, Maintenance department.
• Know, understand, and be able to perform mechanical work.
• Able to perform simple technical analysis accurately.
• Able to operate lathe, milling, grinding, drilling and similar equipment.
• Able to perform simple welding work.
• Able to perform simple civil work.
• Able to operate computers.
• Strong communication, teamwork, diligence, honesty, integrity and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Perform improvement and modification activities identified or recommended by HSE on machinery and equipment in the factory area.
• Create daily mechanical maintenance reports.
• Stop work if unsafe conditions exist related to work responsibilities.
• Identify problems, perform quality control, and ensure mechanical equipment functions per HSE guidance.
• Maintain cost control through proper spare parts and consumable usage.
• Support material usage to improve work efficiency.

Perform repairs on mechanical equipment experiencing operational constraints from an HSE perspective

Identify problems, conduct quality control and ensure all mechanical equipment performance functions according to HSE direction

Responsible for cost reduction implementation through proper control of spare parts and consumables usage

Responsible for material usage to achieve work effectiveness

Create daily mechanical maintenance reports

Stop work if unsafe and hazardous conditions exist related to work responsibilities
