You will work both in an office and manufacturing shop-floor environment.

Domestic relocation is available for this position.

What You Will Do:

• Participating in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.

• Monitoring equipment and process reliability; identifying and addressing problem areas.

• Providing coaching and development for operations technical staff and support areas.

• Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.

• Address issues related to processing, programming, tool design, standards development and application, acquisition of tools and equipment, layout, material composition, and machining planning.

• Create NC programs using CAM software, perform simulations, and transfer them to the machining center.

What Skills You Have:

• Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.

• Problem Management Process: Knowledge of manufacturing problem management processes, methodologies and techniques; ability to use a disciplined approach to bringing that problem to a successful resolution.

• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

• Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.

• Manufacturing Equipment: Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to safely operate, maintain, update and store them.

• Manufacturing Safety: Knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site.

• Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies: Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Educational Background: A minimum of an associate or diploma's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Experience: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of experience OR university degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years’ experience. Preferably, prior experience working in a manufacturing environment, particularly in heavy machinery or large components with machining processes.

• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is required.

• Experienced and knowledgeable in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Numerical Controls (NC) programming, and cutting tools selection and optimization.

• Skilled in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as Creo and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programming like NX.

• Familiar with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process and Continues Improvement projects.

Physical Requirements (With or Without Reasonable Accommodation):

• This job requires extensive active movement throughout the plant including climbing stairs and steps, lifting devices, and pushing and pulling equipment.
