Senior Specialist Payroll
To support our operations with a variety of projects and challenging tasks in Human Resources area, we are looking for highly motivated professionals eager for brave thinking, foster innovation, and build collaboration to achieve operational excellence.
Some of your duties will include:
- Actively maintain payroll system to support business and sites operations in order to create a competitive, effective, and efficient organization compliant with prevailing laws and regulations.
- Keep all aspects of payroll in high confidentiality at all times.
- Establish and ensure practices are followed for accurate and timely payment of employee's payroll, including terminations.
- For monthly closing, ensure intercompany payroll balance ties up with Denver reconciliations.
- Manage the company's timekeeping and payroll function ensuring that employees are paid in accordance with the terms of the company regulations and policies, employee agreements, and ensure that documentation is satisfactory to be in compliance with the various auditing, taxation, and other needs of the company.
- Ensure payment of payroll and terminations are according to the company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that bank accounts for payroll are reconciled on a monthly basis.
What skills and experience do you need?
- Minimum 10 years of experience in payroll administration, cash management, accounts payable administration in the mining/construction industry.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role as Sr. Supervisor/Coordinator Payroll.
- Experience in financial operations and reporting in an international company is preferable.
- Tax knowledge: General understanding of the Indonesian Labor Law.
- Must have experience with a computer-based payroll system (preferably with SAP) and the use of MS Office programs (Master in Excel and data calculation).
- Possess leadership traits, good communication and interpersonal skills: team player; good in coaching/mentoring; good analytical; conflict resolution; sound decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.
