Job summary

Caterpillar Indonesia Batam is seeking a Logistics Planning Technician to join the Supply Chain Planning team on a 12-month contract. The role focuses on supporting engineering drawings, layout studies, and logistics improvement projects within manufacturing and office environments.

You will coordinate with vendors and stakeholders, perform field measurements, and help implement facility modifications and process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or logistics.
• Proficient in CAD software for engineering drawings.
• Understanding of logistics operations and facility layout.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering drawings for trolley, pallet, rack, and other logistics equipment.
• Support layout studies and space optimization efforts.
• Assist with logistics planning projects, including facility modifications and process improvements.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders during fabrication, installation, and project implementation.
• Perform field measurements, collect and verify data, and follow up on project implementation.
