Job Description
- Directs all logistics operations including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, order processing, and customer service, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Builds and maintains strong partnerships with key vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve service issues, optimize supply chain efficiency, and support business objectives.
- Develops and mentors team members, promotes full employee engagement, and implements performance-based recognition to enhance productivity.
- Leads and enforces safety programs, drives continuous process improvements, and establishes succession plans for critical roles to maintain operational stability.
- Collaborates on network design, sets and monitors KPIs, and reports on site performance to drive accountability and operational excellence.
- Oversees capital projects, vendor management, and process redesigns focused on improving safety, cost control, service quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Champions Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and lean logistics practices, consistently meeting or exceeding targets in inventory control, forecasting, transportation, and delivery execution.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Transportation
- Minimum 8 years' logistics, transportation, or warehousing experience, including 4 years in a supervisory role
- Experience with high-SKU logistics networks
- Proven ability managing 3rd Party Logistics Providers and knowledge of TPM, Lean, and/or 5S practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
