We are pleased to announce an opening for the position of Logistics Executive based in Batam, Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive forecast / Potential Volume / Upcoming export booking from Commercial, CS team, and agent in Batam.
• Receive upcoming / pre-notice for import shipment from import team.
• Monitoring Empty stock availability and Request Repair Approval/Repo In/Out to JKT HO.
• Monitoring Seal stock and request for restock on all depot in Batam.
• Attending Logistics Weekly Team Meeting.
• Coordinate with the depot on equipment management (dwell time monitoring) and monitor depot service performance.
• Conduct monthly meetings with depot, trucking vendor.
• Review Depot and Trucking Vendor monthly performance.
• Arranging / Coordinating intermodal dooring with Batam’s agent, Shipper, Consignee, Trucking and Barge Operator.
• Coordinating with trucking vendor for unit availability.
• Monitoring and executing Intermodal shipment.
• Update Intermodal shipment progress to customers.
• Arrange and monitor Intermodal customs clearances.
• Checking and Confirming for any additional cost on Intermodal shipment (Export & Import).
• Recording and reporting weekly activity and forecast for intermodal and VAS.

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Logistic/Transportation or equivalent
• Experience in Logistics will be advantageous
• Good communication skills in Indonesian and English
• Able to work under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative software, especially in Excel
• Good organising and leadership skills
