Overview
The opportunity:
Ensure accurate, safe, and timely handling of goods through streamlined warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming shipments of materials and products; organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas for easy access and retrieval; conduct regular physical inventory counts (cycle counts) and reconcile with data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS); monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations; report discrepancies to management.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company standards; generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation; ensure all orders are dispatched on time to meet customer delivery deadlines.
- Coordinate with freight carriers and transportation providers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments; track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any transit issues; prepare and verify all shipping documents (e.g., Bills of Lading, commercial invoices) for domestic and international shipments; negotiate with carriers for competitive shipping rates and services.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment; operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts and pallet jacks) in a safe and efficient manner (certification may be required); adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations; assist in optimizing warehousing processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your background
- You hold a minimum diploma (D3) in Logistics Management, Warehouse Management, Industrial Engineering, Transportation Management, or another related field. A bachelor’s degree (S1) in the same fields (Logistics/Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering) is a significant advantage.
- 2 to 3 years of experience; fresh graduates with strong knowledge are welcome.
- Proficient in inventory control techniques, including First-In, First-Out (FIFO) and cycle counting methods.
- Highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and tracking.
- Able to analyze logistics data to identify issues (e.g., shipping delays, stock discrepancies) and find effective solutions.
- Proficiency in English communication.
