Job summary

PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk is seeking a Driver for DODLamar in Jawa Timur. You will transport Day Old Chicks and other goods, ensuring safety and timely delivery.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, and comply with traffic laws and company policies. The role requires a valid SIM B1/B2, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift moderate weights. Weekend availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid SIM B1 or B2 license for commercial vehicles in Indonesia.
• Experience as a professional driver; livestock/sensitive cargo experience preferred (DOD).
• Knowledge of Indonesian traffic laws and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit with ability to lift moderate weights.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport DOD (Day Old Chicks) and other goods as assigned, ensuring wellbeing and timely delivery.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain accurate daily logs of mileage, fuel use, delivery times and incidents.
• Adhere to traffic laws, company safety policies and regulations.
• Assist with loading and unloading and secure cargo properly.
• Communicate delivery schedules and delays with dispatch and customers.
• Perform routine vehicle cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Report vehicle malfunctions or incidents to management promptly.
