Job summary

LELCO in Indonesia is seeking a Lighting Designer to develop lighting concepts, create layouts and documentation, and specify fixtures and controls for projects. You will coordinate with architects, consultants, and clients across project stages, and support tender and construction documentation.

Attend project meetings, site visits, and design reviews, and assist with on-site lighting focusing, testing and commissioning as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level or diploma in lighting/architectural design, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in lighting design.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Photoshop; familiarity with SketchUp, Revit or lighting calc software is a plus.
Strong design sensibility and ability to communicate design intent clearly.
Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced studio.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing lighting design concepts aligned with architectural vision and client brief.
Prepare lighting layouts, fixture schedules, and design documentation across project stages.
Research and specify lighting fixtures and controls suited to project needs and budget.
Liaise with architects, consultants, and clients to coordinate design and technical requirements.
Support tender and construction documentation.
Attend project meetings, site visits, and design reviews.
Assist with on-site lighting focusing, testing, and commissioning as required.
