Job summary

JAPFA is seeking a Reach Truck Driver to operate, load, unload, and move goods within our Indonesian warehouse. The role requires a valid reach truck license, strong safety practices, and the ability to perform pre-shift inspections.

Responsibilities include accurate inventory placement, adherence to procedures, and maintaining a clean work environment. Flexible to assist with other material handling tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Reach Truck Driver or similar role.
• Valid and current reach truck license/certification.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
• Ability to perform pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance checks on equipment.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift/move heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to load, unload, stack, and retrieve goods and materials.
• Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse, production floor, and loading docks.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections of the reach truck and report maintenance issues.
• Ensure accurate inventory placement and retrieval following procedures.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE.
• Assist with general warehouse duties including manual lifting and cleaning.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers regarding material movement and inventory status.
• Potentially operate other material handling equipment as required.
