Key Responsibilities

• Manage the design of your level through the full cycle of production from conception to finalization;
• Collaborate with the art, product, design, and development team to define the requirements of the level.
• Brainstorm and research to plan the level guidelines.
• Experiment with level designs and explore opportunities.
• Involved in assisting artists and designers as they translate a vision into an engaging player experience.
• Make decisions to balance artistic aspects with technical constraints to align all technical, design, graphic, accessibility, timeline, cost, effort, and narrative features.
• Contribute to the development of robust tools and infrastructure supporting the entire level design process.
• Find solutions to issues uncovered by playtesters and cross-functional teams related to the level (get to the root of problems to solve them).
• Understand and help tech artists implement the desired levels and objects in the game engine.
• Understand and apply the narrative and emotional ambition to the game experience.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Minimum 2 years of experience in level design
• Experienced in casual-level design
• Basic knowledge of Excel is a must
• Eager to learn new tools
• Proficiency in the Unity engine is a huge bonus
• Fluent in English (Spoken and Written)
