PT Summarecon Agung Tbk seeks a junior Legal Counsel in Tangerang. The role requires a S1 in Law and at least 1 year in the legal field, with preference for education-sector experience.

You will draft and review contracts, provide opinions on university activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain thorough legal records. You will also represent the university in proceedings when needed and coordinate with government agencies and notaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law, preferably with civil/business/state admin focus.
• At least 1 year in a legal role; experience in educational institutions is a plus.
• Able to draft and review contracts and advise on higher education and business law.
• Strong legal analysis, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, team player, and committed to ethics.
• PERADI license preferred (if available).
• Demonstrates good character and dedication, with willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, and examine agreements with external/internal parties.
• Provide legal opinions and advice on institutional activities.
• Ensure university activities comply with applicable laws/regulations.
• Conduct legal reviews on higher education regulations, employment, IP, etc.
• Maintain systematic and well-documented legal records.
• Represent the university in formal legal proceedings as required.
• Coordinate with government agencies, notaries, and other external parties.
