About Our Client

Our client, a prominent player in the real estate development sector, is looking for a Legal Manager to lead legal matters related to land acquisition, property development, investment structuring, and compliance. This role will play a key part in ensuring legal soundness throughout the entire lifecycle of their development projects.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on and manage all legal aspects of land acquisition, project development, and investment agreements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts including lease agreements, JV agreements, construction contracts, and sales & purchase agreements (SPA).
  • Ensure compliance with real estate regulations, zoning laws, and relevant permits.
  • Liaise with internal departments, external counsel, and government authorities.
  • Support dispute resolution and handle legal risks across the project development process.
  • Provide strategic legal input to support the company's growth initiatives and project planning.

The Successful Applicant

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law; licensed to practice law in Indonesia.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in real estate development, corporate legal, or law firms handling property matters.
  • Strong understanding of real estate laws, land rights, and development permits.
  • Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and legal advisory skills.
  • Experience working with government and regulatory bodies is an advantage.
  • Mandarin language proficiency is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
