Job Summary

Legal Operations & Compliance (Group Company)

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial contracts, including charter parties, MoUs, LOIs, supply/sales contracts and other operational supporting agreements.
  • Ensuring that legal documentation standards are consistently applied throughout all companies within the group.
  • Providing legal opinions on operational and commercial legal issues.
  • Legal team supervision (monitoring team performance, assigning tasks, and developing team competencies).
  • Establishing SOPs and legal workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy of work processes.
  • Handling and overseeing dispute resolution (litigation and non‑litigation), including maritime/commercial disputes, civil matters and administrative cases.
  • Providing dispute resolution strategies, including early warning systems to minimize potential legal risks.
  • Preparing legal memorandums and formal recommendations for the Board of Directors (BOD) and Board of Commissioners (BOC).
  • Coordinating with external law firms, government agencies and other stakeholders throughout the dispute resolution process.
  • Managing all legal aspects of the projects, from feasibility studies, EPC contracts, permitting to project implementation compliance.
  • Ensuring risk mitigation and project legal documentation comply with oil & gas, maritime and infrastructure regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law Major.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the related field, preferably Assistant Manager specialised in law/legal services or equivalent.
  • Hold an advocate licence is a plus.
  • Familiar in law/legal knowledge related with corporate law, contract drafting, contract management and negotiations, licensing, also preferably having an experience in litigation.
  • Solid knowledge of all relevant local laws and regulations and proven experience liaising with relevant local regulatory institutions.
  • Ability to work on a broad subject of legal matters and adjust to an innovative and dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional working attitude like fast response and fast working pace while maintaining quality of working result, having ability to plan, organise and work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team‑first attitude.
