Role Description

This internship role for a Legal Intern is an on-site position based in Semarang. The Legal Intern will support attorneys with legal research, case analysis, and the preparation of legal documents such as contracts, memoranda, and filings. Daily tasks include reviewing legal issues, organizing case files, assisting with client communications under supervision, and preparing summaries of laws and regulations relevant to ongoing matters. The intern will also help with drafting internal reports, attending meetings when appropriate, and supporting administrative tasks related to legal consulting. This internship is designed to provide practical exposure to law firm operations and professional development in legal practice.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law and familiarity with common Legal Issues relevant to civil, commercial, or administrative matters.
• Ability to support Legal Consulting activities, including analyzing cases and preparing clear, structured recommendations under supervision.
• Skills in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting contracts, letters, and memoranda with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with team members and drafting client-facing materials.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Law program or related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to interpret statutes, regulations, and case law.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
• Ability to work on-site in Semarang, manage time effectively, and collaborate in a team-based environment.
