About Our Client

Our client is a rapidly growing global player in the energy manufacturing sector, making a strategic new investment in Indonesia to drive innovation, operational excellence, and long-term regional expansion.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide strategic and operational legal support to the company's manufacturing operations in Indonesia.


  • Ensure company-wide compliance with Indonesian regulations, including but not limited to industrial, environmental, and safety laws.


  • Advise on all procurement and supply chain-related legal matters, including vendor agreements, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation.


  • Offer guidance on labor and employment law issues, including employment contracts, internal policies, labor disputes, and union relations.


  • Monitor and advise on fair competition practices and antitrust issues to ensure compliance with local and international standards.


  • Oversee data privacy and data protection matters, ensuring compliance with local data laws and internal global policies.


  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including service, distribution, licensing, and partnership agreements.


  • Collaborate with global and regional legal counterparts to align local practices with global standards.


  • Liaise with external counsel as needed for litigation or specialized legal advice.


  • Act as a key business partner to cross-functional teams, especially operations, HR, procurement, and finance.


  • Support internal investigations, audits, and due diligence related to business operations.


  • Stay up-to-date on relevant regulatory developments, legal trends, and best practices impacting the manufacturing sector.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:



  • Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in legal practice, either from a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.


  • PERADI licensed (mandatory).


  • Prior exposure to the manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain sectors is essential; background in mining/energy is a strong advantage.


  • Strong understanding of Indonesian regulatory framework, particularly in corporate, labor, commercial, and compliance matters.


  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.


  • Proven ability to provide practical legal advice in a fast-paced business environment.


  • Strong communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (oral and written).


  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently; leadership potential is highly valued.


  • Willing to be based near Bekasi / Karawang area.
