Job summary

Pou Chen Group Indonesia is seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to support the company from its Kedungwuni area in Central Java. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing contracts, and coordinating with notaries, external lawyers, and government officials to ensure compliance and risk management.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, is fluent in English and Mandarin, and can manage multiple tasks under pressure while delivering accurate documentation and SOPs for the legal

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and be eligible to practice wherever required.
• Strong drafting skills with the ability to prepare and review complex contracts.
• Advanced level of spoken and written English and Mandarin proficiency.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, organization, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and legal support to the company.
• Draft and review agreements / contracts and conduct negotiations with third parties.
• Liaise and coordinate with notaries, external lawyers and government officials.
• Manage legal documentation including filing and updating.
• Support legal head in preparing SOPs for the legal department.
• Prepare supporting documents such as corporate resolutions and other ancillary documents.
• Standardize contracts / agreements for use by business units.
