A reputable mining and manufacturing company in Jakarta Pusat is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee legal compliance and manage regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Law, 7-10 years of relevant experience, and fluency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English. This role offers the opportunity to work within a well-established organization with a focus on compliance and governance.
Ensure full compliance with Indonesian laws and regulations, particularly in mining, environmental, labor, corporate, and HSE domains.
Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, MoUs, NDAs, JV agreements, land acquisition documents, and vendor contracts.
Monitor the company’s IUP, environmental licenses, and regulatory obligations to avoid any operational disruption.
Liaise with government authorities (ESDM, BKPM, KLHK, DJBC, Kemenaker, Kemenkeu, etc.) for all legal & regulatory matters.
Manage internal audits and lead compliance checks in coordination with related departments (CSR, HRGA, Procurement, etc.).
Identify legal and compliance risks, provide mitigation strategies, and act as internal advisor to management and operations.
Lead company’s corporate governance program, ensure document retention policies and corporate secretarial work (AHU, notarial filings, RUPS, etc).
Handle any legal dispute or litigation with external counsel when necessary.
Monitor regulatory changes (UU Minerba, UU Cipta Kerja, PERMEN, etc.) and advise business units accordingly.
Supervise legal team and ensure compliance training and awareness across departments.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university. Master’s degree is a plus.
Licensed advocate (PERADI) is highly preferred.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in legal/compliance roles, preferably in mining, refinery, manufacturing, energy, or heavy industry.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian mining law, corporate law, and industrial regulations.
Experienced in handling contract law, company licensing, land legalities, and regulatory reporting.
Proven ability to engage and negotiate with government institutions and local authorities.
Excellent analytical, risk assessment, and communication skills—both written and verbal.
Able to work independently under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia & English, both legal and business terms.
