Preparing draft and review the Company's contracts, letter of agreements, and other documents related to Legal needs and ensure the contract is accordance with business goals and compliance guidelines, maintain the documentation database, and liaise with other divisions with regard to contracts preparation and contracts execution.
Manage the validity of all company's licenses and permits and ensure that all licenses and permits required for the company's commercial and operational aspects are obtained as per prevailing laws and regulations.
Directly liaise with external parties, government institutions, or any other relevant regulators.
Developing and implementing legal & risk management strategies, and through the collaboration with other functions provide strategic legal insight, potential risk exposure, and mitigation plans of any significant legal and regulatory developments to the management.
Organize and coordinate Directors' and Shareholders' meetings, including attending and preparing meeting documentation.
Manage disputes, litigation and any regulatory matters that may arise or affect the company's business.
Protecting Company's intellectual property rights as needed by the Company, including matters related to trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and copyrights.
Participating in due diligence when required by the Company.
Handle Compliance training.
Handle any other tasks/projects that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
At least 3 year(s) of working experience as Legal & Compliance Assistant Manager in the related field is required for this position.
Solid knowledge of all relevant local laws and regulations and proven experience liaising with relevant local regulatory institutions.
Excellence in legal analytical, legal drafting, giving legal opinion, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in English, both verbal and writing.
Multitasking individual as well as team player.
Able to work towards deadlines with a right sense of urgency and able to work overtime if necessary.
Proven track record of developing and implementing compliance programs and initiatives.
Proactive with good problem-solving skills, resourceful and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
