We are urgently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant Manager.

A Legal Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing legal matters and ensuring compliance. Key responsibilities include providing legal counsel, drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing legal risks, and ensuring adherence to laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee legal aspects of business operations and transactions.
  2. Manage relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities.
  3. Provide guidance on labor law, intellectual property, and contract disputes.
  4. Develop and implement legal strategies to protect the organization’s interests.
  5. Conduct legal research and stay updated on legal changes.
  6. Negotiate and draft legal agreements and contracts.
  7. Represent the organization in legal proceedings when necessary.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance.
  9. Provide legal training to employees on compliance matters.
  10. Advise senior management on legal implications and risks.

Requirements and Skills

  • Law degree from a reputable university.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the mining/energy industry or related consulting, investment, or audit firms with energy/mining exposure.
  • Understanding of corporate law and legal management.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and risk management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound legal decisions.
