A leading consulting firm in Indonesia is seeking a Legal AGM/Senior Manager to provide high-level legal support within the corporate legal department. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Indonesian labor law, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience, particularly in the automotive sector. This role entails advising management on legal issues, ensuring compliance, and maintaining legal documents while possessing excellent organizational skills.
Bachelor's degree in Law is preferred, or a related field with extensive legal experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Legal AGM/Senior Manager role within a corporate legal department, preferably in the automotive manufacturing or a multinational company.
Solid understanding of Indonesian labor law and regulations, with proven experience in industrial relations.
Experience in providing legal support to HR functions, particularly concerning industrial relations, or advising management on related legal issues is a significant plus.
Preferably Hold an Advocate license from PERADI
Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
Proven experience in managing legal documents, maintaining accurate records, and providing comprehensive administrative support.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all work.
High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support of Legal & Compliance.
Assist in the preparation, drafting, and review of various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, corporate resolutions, and internal policies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
Manage and organize legal files, documents, and correspondence (both physical and electronic) with meticulous attention to detail, maintaining a highly organized and confidential filing system.
Liaise professionally with external legal counsel, government bodies, and other third parties as required.
Support compliance initiatives and assist in maintaining internal regulatory databases.
Provide legal support to the Human Resources department, assisting with the review of HR policies, employment contracts, and other HR-related legal documents, with a specific focus on industrial relations matters.
Advising management on various legal issues affecting the company's operations, including but not limited to labor law, industrial relations, corporate governance, and commercial matters.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Manage office supplies and general administrative duties to ensure the efficient operation of the legal department.
Collaborate with Asia Regional Head of Legal and Global Legal Group
