Position: Legal and Compliance Officer
Department: Legal & Compliance
Reports to: Compliance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Consumer Protection Cases: Conduct responsible handling of consumer protection cases sourced from OJK, AFPI, and internal teams, including but not limited to legal documents and stakeholder communications (minimum 5 cases per day).
- Monitoring and Auditing: Regularly monitor and audit compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Training and Education: Provide training and education to employees on compliance requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Staying Current: Keep updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Incident Management: Support response efforts for security incidents and compliance violations, assist in investigations, and prepare reports in collaboration with internal teams.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in law (business, civil law, or litigation).
- Preferably passed the bar advocate/PKPA by PERADI.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in security, risk management, or compliance within financial institutions; fresh graduates with organizational experience are welcome.
- Familiar with regulations by OJK, PPATK, AFPI, and related to P2P lending.
- Detail-oriented, fair, objective, able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Interested in emerging risks, technology, and compliance trends.
