Job summary

Sekolah Pelita Harapan is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support students in mainstream classrooms and assist with activities when needed. The role involves implementing IEP accommodations and collaborating with teachers, parents, and the IEP team to monitor progress.

Fluency in English and experience with students with special needs are required. The position emphasizes teamwork, caring approach, and effective communication within our Jakarta-area campuses.

Qualifications

• Certified Shadow Teacher/LSA required
• Experience with special needs students (preferably as Shadow Teacher/LSA)
• Strong communication and caring approach
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Ability to coordinate with parents and work in a team

Responsibilities

• Support student in a mainstream class and assist with activities/works when necessary
• Implement accommodations per IEP to help student reach goals
• Bridge communication between teacher, student, learning support, parents and IEP team
• Perform regular data collection and maintain records for the IEP
