Job description

Lean Manager - Manufacture - Cikarang (B-117804)

The working venue is inCikarang, West Java.

Our client is a Manufacture Company. Currently, they are looking for Lean Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a lean manufacturing strategy aligned with company goals.

Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, 5S implementation, and other lean initiatives.

Identify and eliminate waste (Muda, Muri, Mura) in production and operational processes.

Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency and process improvements.

Support the implementation of automation and digital tools to enhance productivity.

Analyze current workflows, material flows, and production layouts to optimize efficiency.

Develop standardized work procedures and ensure compliance with best practices.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve cycle times and reduce defects.

Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to minimize equipment downtime.

Train employees at all levels on lean principles and problem-solving techniques.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and employee engagement.

Mentor and coach employees to sustain lean practices and drive accountability.

Identify cost-saving opportunities by improving production efficiency and reducing material waste.

Drive root cause analysis for process inefficiencies and develop corrective actions.

Work with suppliers and logistics teams to optimize the supply chain and reduce lead times.

Other responsibilities as needed.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Business English proficiency (fluency in communicating with European expatriates).

Min. 3 years as Lean Manager in foreign plastic molding manufacture company with high volume production setting, experienced in lean manufacturing, process improvement, operational excellence.

Own Lean Six Sigma cert., strong knowledge of lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, Kanban and Value Stream mapping.

Good communication skill, problem solving skill, time management skill, and analytical skill.

Preferred Skill / Experience:

Own Lean Six Sigma cert (black belt or green belt).
