About the role
We are seeking an experienced Leader Operator Cast Film (Flexible Packaging Manufacture) to join our manufacturing team in North Cikarang, West Java. This is a full‑time position that plays a crucial role in leading and managing our cast film production operations. As a Leader Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of cast film machinery, ensuring consistent product quality, optimising production efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment. This role is integral to our production success and directly impacts our ability to deliver premium flexible packaging solutions to our customers.

Key responsibilities

Operating and monitoring cast film production machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality

Supervising and guiding machine operators on the production line, providing technical support and training

Conducting regular equipment maintenance checks and reporting any mechanical issues to maintenance teams

Monitoring production parameters including temperature, pressure, and film thickness to meet specification requirements

Implementing quality control procedures and ensuring all output meets established standards

Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and implementing corrective actions to minimise downtime

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience operating cast film machinery or similar polymer processing equipment

Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with the ability to supervise and motivate team members

Strong technical knowledge of cast film production processes, including material handling and quality control

Excellent understanding of machinery operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques

Demonstrated ability to maintain detailed production records and analyse performance metrics

Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently whilst contributing to team objectives

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels

A commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices

Flexibility to work shift patterns as required by production schedules

Experience with flexible packaging manufacture or similar polymer-based production processes (preferred)

Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in machinery operation (preferred)
