Location: Bali

Role Summary

The Technician Lead oversees and enhances all operational and maintenance processes, ensuring seamless collaboration between technicians, vendors, and stakeholders. This role ensures that properties under Cove’s portfolio are consistently maintained to the highest standards, supports team development, and improves the operational efficiency of the business.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leadership & Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the technician team.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Act as the point of contact for escalations or critical maintenance issues.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and task allocation for technicians.
Maintenance Excellence
  • Oversee the execution of preventive maintenance programs to ensure the functionality and longevity of equipment and facilities.
  • Conduct quality control on repairs and maintenance work to meet company standards.
  • Support technicians with complex troubleshooting, offering expertise on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or structural issues.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor and report energy efficiency initiatives and suggest improvements to reduce unnecessary utility consumption.
  • Ensure timely resolution of all major maintenance or repair issues, minimizing downtime.
  • Coordinate with vendors for specialized maintenance work and supervise external repair jobs.
Process Improvement
  • Identify operational gaps and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and team output.
  • Collaborate with the Property/Engineering Manager to refine workflows and procedures.
  • Support the implementation of digital tools or systems to streamline maintenance tracking and reporting.
Inventory & Resource Management
  • Maintain an updated record of company inventory, tools, and landlord-owned equipment.
  • Ensure technicians are equipped with the necessary tools and supplies to perform their duties effectively.
Customer Experience Support
  • Work with the operations team to ensure properties provide the best living experience for tenants by maintaining high cleanliness and functionality standards.
  • Actively resolve tenant-reported issues and provide updates to the Property/Engineering Manager and Operations team.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Educational Background: High school diploma or technical certification.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar technician role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Hands-on experience in property maintenance and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil domains.
