Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Lead Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer for an Indonesian architecture and engineering consultancy. You will lead the design of life-safety systems, ensure compliance with local regulations, and prepare designs ready for PBG/SLF certification.

The role requires 5+ years in plumbing and fire protection on industrial or regulated projects, STRI/SKA Level 8, and proficiency in AutoCAD, hydraulic calculations, and NFPA/SNI standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field, with valid STRI and SKA/SKK Level 8 (Ahli Madya) in Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design on industrial or regulated development projects, including responsibility as Engineer-in-Charge.
• Expertise in plumbing and sanitary systems, including cold/hot water supply, waste-water, and vent system design, and in active fire protection systems such as sprinklers, hydrants, foam, and fire pumps, with mastery of international and local fire safety standards (NFPA & SNI).
• Proficient in hydraulic calculation software for fire protection and water systems, AutoCAD for 2D layouts, and basic ETABS/SAP2000 for structural coordination.
• Professional English for technical communication with stakeholders, detail-oriented, technically rigorous, with strong coordination and communication skills, and able to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

• Act as Penanggung Jawab for Plumbing & Fire Protection, ensuring system safety and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and approve hydraulic calculations, fire protection layouts, and plumbing diagrams for submission.

Job Role:
