Job description

SPIE Oil & Gas Services Indonesia is currently looking for a Lead Instrument Engineer.

Your main duties include:

1. Reviewing the project scope, identifying required resources, resource planning including manpower, office requirements, recruitment plan, cost estimation, and scheduling.
2. Planning, supervising, controlling, and managing the team of engineers, supervisors, and drafters. Direct reporting to the Engineering Manager or Project Manager.
3. Committing to QHSE standards, project schedule, and cost control.
4. Maintaining good communication skills to coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and third parties.
5. Preparing, reviewing, checking, controlling, and monitoring engineering documents such as scope of work, procedures, specifications, bill of materials, engineering schedules, sizing calculations, design drawings, procurement documents, RFQ, TBE, etc.
6. Familiarity with international standards; knowledge of Total general specifications is preferable.
7. Working with sizing software such as Instrucalc, ASME PTC93 for thermowell, and liaising with vendors for PSV, control valves, etc.
8. Designing control system equipment, including PCS-PSS-F&G functional design specifications, I/O allocation, bill of materials, FAT/IFAT/SAT procedures and reports, programming, testing, and commissioning.
9. Experience with design, fabrication, staging, and site activities involving control system equipment such as Triconnex, Honeywell, Foxboro, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.
10. Performing site activities related to control systems: fabrication, integration, FAT, construction, commissioning, startup, and OTP.
11. Willingness to work in a global environment, including domestic and international, onshore and offshore projects.

Profile

We are seeking candidates with:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
2. Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering design of Instrument and Control systems, especially in Detail Engineering Design (DED) in brownfield projects. Experience in FEED and greenfield projects is an additional advantage.
