Job summary

Indodax is seeking a Data Scientist to join their AI and Predictive Analytics team in Tangerang. You will develop predictive models, analyze large datasets, and collaborate with engineers to deploy models into production.

This role requires strong statistical and ML knowledge, plus proficiency in Python or R and SQL. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience, excellent communication, and a track record of delivering data-driven insights that influence business decisions.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar analytical role.
• Proficiency in Python or R, and libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases; strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement predictive models using machine learning and statistical methods.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives.
• Design and conduct A/B tests and experiments to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
• Collaborate with engineers to deploy models into production environments.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports and visualizations.
• Stay current with advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
