Job Description

This role is based in Singapore or Indonesia, supporting work within the Southeast Asia region.

To succeed as a Lead Cost Estimator, you should have experience in:

• Supporting cost estimating services across the region, with potential to take on Lead/PM roles on future projects
• Estimating and cost planning, including producing and presenting final cost plans
• Managing development of cost estimates from drawings and specifications
• Building client and consultant relationships and identifying new opportunities
• Conducting estimate assurance reviews and report writing
• Taking responsibility for deliverables and ensuring commitments are met

Qualifications

• A recognized Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Engineering, or similar
• Over 15 years of experience, preferably in oil and gas; offshore wind experience is a plus
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior clients
• Experience in resource-based estimates, top-down cost plans, or parametric cost models
• A reputation for challenge, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Passion for mentoring teams and future professionals
• Extensive experience in producing cost estimates (AACE Class 2-5) and benchmarking for major CAPEX investments over US$1B in oil & gas, mining, and clean energy sectors
• Excellent English skills; Mandarin and Bahasa are advantageous
• Strong presentation and management skills
