WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Lead, Brand Marketing Indonesia, will report to the Senior Director, Marketing – SEA&I, and work closely with the Brand Marketing teams across Southeast Asia & India (SEA&I) and Asia-Pacific Latin America (APLA). This role involves collaborating with teammates across Nike to develop effective ways to inspire and connect with athletes.

Key stakeholders include: Brand Management, Brand Creative, Integrated Media, Digital Marketing, Energy Marketing, PR/Communications, Social & Community Impact, Product & Merchandising, Marketplace Partners, Finance & Procurement, Agency & Production partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We seek a Lead, Brand Marketing to join our Brand Management team. The role is pivotal in shaping the future of Sport & culture locally, requiring a good understanding of sports, sports communities, youth culture, and the sneaker & fashion scene. The candidate should lead initiatives, balance creativity with organization, and have strong digital skills to keep pace with consumers.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in brand management, consumer marketing, or related fields such as fashion, editorial, publishing, sports, consumer brands, magazines, streaming platforms, or subscription services
  • Genuine passion and knowledge of sports, sneaker/streetwear culture, youth trends, and the Nike brand
  • Strategic thinking, initiative leadership, project management, and effective influence skills
  • Ability to activate and leverage sports communities
  • Proactive information-seeking skills, balancing creativity with organizational excellence in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing budgets, agencies, teams, and communities in Sport & Culture
  • Team-oriented mindset with coaching and mentoring ambitions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, and strong skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing – SEA&I, you will collaborate with local and regional teams to execute Nike’s brand strategy and implement seasonal and daily initiatives.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing consumer experiences to boost brand engagement and business growth
  • Managing brand, team collaboration, operational excellence, community building, and agency relationships, along with innovative on-ground activations
  • Gaining insights into sport and cultural trends from consumers
  • Overseeing retail execution in Nike stores
  • Leading on-ground activations with retail partners
  • Managing product integration into seasonal campaigns, briefing marketing initiatives, and asset development
  • Executing marketing plans from conception to measurement, including budget management, reporting, and influencer seeding
