Une entreprise méconnue dans le domaine des services d'assurance cherche un diplômé en droit pour le poste de Loss Adjuster. Le candidat sera responsable de la gestion des demandes d'indemnisation et de l'analyse juridique des contrats. Reporting to the Head of Marine Department, the Liability Adjuster investigates insurance claims on behalf of the insurer. They promptly visit the damaged object to obtain all necessary facts once a claim is logged.
Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for handling all Liability Claims, including but not limited to Fidelity Guarantee, Directors & Officers (D&O), Professional Liability, and Personal Accident (PA) for crew members.
Review and interpret contracts, agreements, tort claims, and final court decisions from a legal (particularly civil law) perspective. Attend arbitration or court proceedings as required.
Conduct on-site visits to loss or damage locations when necessary to carry out inspections and surveys.
Prepare attendance advice, preliminary assessments, and final survey/adjustment reports in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Manage and coordinate the entire claims process in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring timely resolution.
Engage in meetings and discussions with insurers, reinsurers, brokers, claimants, insureds, and other relevant stakeholders.
Draft comprehensive preliminary reports covering all aspects of the claim, including legal and policy liability analysis, estimated quantum, and recommended next steps.
Maintain regular communication with all involved parties; manage and approve interim payments; and issue interim updates and formal correspondence as required.
Be available to respond to urgent matters outside regular working hours, including weekends and public holidays, as needed.
Foster strong working relationships with existing clients and actively support efforts to identify and approach potential new clients.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from Law from international class in local university or from overseas university (degrees taught in English).
At least 1-2 years experience in related field (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
Good command in English (proved by TOEFL score min. 600 or IELTS score 6.5).
Computer Literate.
Having driving license (SIM A) would be an advantage.
Willing to be placed in branch office throughout Indonesia.
Willing to travel throughout Indonesia (remote area) and work in flexi-time hours.
