Company Description: Provider of Hotel and Marine Personnel to International Cruise Lines, Commercial Shipping and Hotels Worldwide.

Job Description:
  1. Sort all linen daily.
  2. Load and unload washers and dryers according to Viking’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  3. Handle the flat iron for laundry and fold towels as required.
  4. Monitor iron roll pressure and steam supply.
  5. Regularly clean dryer ducts and laundry area.
  6. Report damages or malfunctions of laundry equipment to the Laundry Master.
  7. Handle cleaning products, materials, and laundry equipment properly; separate and remove garbage, and ensure sanitation standards are maintained.
  8. Participate in “The Daily Reunion” to align with team operational needs and uphold Viking’s STAR Service Standards.
  9. Provide high-quality service, maintain cleanliness and hygiene, and prepare for guest flow and activities in line with Viking’s standards.
  10. Wear appropriate PPE and use correct lifting techniques to ensure safety.
  11. Maintain grooming standards and adhere to Viking’s uniform policies.
  12. Secure company property, especially during rough weather, to prevent loss or damage.
  13. Demonstrate flexibility by working different shifts, handling pressure, and maintaining a positive attitude.
  14. Gain knowledge of ports of call, shore excursions, and shipboard activities.
  15. Motivate to achieve departmental goals related to quality and finances.
  16. Understand and operate in accordance with safety, security, and public health policies; participate in relevant training and drills.
  17. Assist other departments and perform additional duties as instructed by supervisors.
