Job description

Duties And Responsibilities

As Landscaping Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the following:

• Monitor and maintain all garden areas, ensuring they are free from weeds and yield maximally.
• Ensure gardening work orders are executed promptly and correctly.
• Be fully skilled in the use of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
• Plan and implement procedures, systems, and controls to ensure an efficient, timely, and proactive engineering department.
• Monitor host activity, productivity, and utilization rates, managing accordingly.
• Advise the Landscaping Manager of downtime or delays in task completion.
• Manage the team’s daily duties and job assignments, providing support as needed.
• Allocate staffing where needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized working area at all times.
• Use personal safety gear to ensure safety while on duty.
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Landscaping Manager, I must possess the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, with proven results, including:

• High school diploma or equivalent in horticulture or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
• Good understanding of the latest trends and techniques in landscaping, including the ability to implement sustainability initiatives.
• Technical skills to analyze and design projects, and full knowledge of landscaping-related products and services used in resorts.
• Fluent in English.
• Indonesian Citizen.
