Savaya Group in Bali is seeking a Landscaper to maintain gardens, grounds and outdoor guest spaces across venues, restaurants and events. You will collaborate with Landscaping, Housekeeping, Guest Experience, Operations, Events, Security, and Maintenance teams to support attractive, safe hospitality environments.
You will work in a fast-paced international setting in Bali, developing skills in landscaping, horticulture, gardening, and venue support while upholding Savaya Group’s high standards
Do you take pride in creating beautiful, well-maintained, and welcoming outdoor environments for guests and team members? As a Landscaper at Savaya Group, you will help maintain the gardens, landscaped areas, grounds, and outdoor guest spaces across our venues, restaurants, events, and guest experiences in Bali. You will work closely with the Landscaping, Housekeeping, Guest Experience, Operations, Events, Security, and Maintenance teams to support attractive, safe, and exceptional hospitality environments.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in landscaping, horticulture, grounds maintenance, outdoor presentation, hospitality operations, and venue support within a fast-paced international entertainment and hospitality environment in Bali.
You will help ensure that outdoor areas across Savaya Group venues are healthy, clean, attractive, safe, and ready for guests throughout the day. You will complete landscaping and presentation tasks before, during, and after service, events, and other venue activities.
You will maintain guest-facing outdoor areas including entrances, gardens, lawns, planting beds, pathways, terraces, dining areas, lounges, event spaces, poolside areas, viewpoints, walkways, and other landscaped facilities. You will carry out gardening and grounds maintenance tasks in line with established procedures and company standards.
You will complete regular inspections of gardens and outdoor areas to identify requirements relating to watering, pruning, weeding, planting, fertilising, pest control, irrigation, drainage, cleanliness, waste, safety, or general presentation. You will report damaged plants, unhealthy vegetation, broken equipment, irrigation concerns, and other maintenance requirements to the relevant supervisor or manager.
You will water plants, lawns, garden beds, trees, and other vegetation according to operational requirements and environmental conditions. You will use irrigation systems, hoses, gardening tools, equipment, products, and personal protective equipment responsibly and in accordance with training and safety procedures.
You will prune, trim, edge, weed, plant, mulch, fertilise, sweep, clear leaves, remove garden waste, and maintain outdoor areas to support a consistently high standard of presentation. You will help ensure that pathways, terraces, lawns, garden beds, and guest areas remain clear, tidy, accessible, and free from hazards.
You will support the planting and replacement of flowers, shrubs, trees, ground cover, and other vegetation. You will follow instructions relating to plant selection, seasonal requirements, soil preparation, garden design, watering schedules, and sustainable landscaping practices.
You will operate and care for gardening tools and equipment, including hand tools, hoses, mowing equipment, trimmers, blowers, wheelbarrows, and other landscaping equipment where authorised. You will complete basic checks, clean equipment after use, store tools safely, and report damage or faults promptly.
You will handle fertilisers, pesticides, cleaning products, fuels, and other landscaping materials responsibly. You will follow all applicable health, safety, environmental, storage, handling, and personal protective equipment requirements, and use chemical products only as instructed and authorised.
You will work closely with Housekeeping, Guest Experience, Operations, Events, Security, and Maintenance teams to coordinate landscaping activities around guest arrivals, service periods, events, venue changes, deliveries, and high-volume operations. You will communicate clearly when work may affect guest movement, venue access, noise levels, or outdoor activities.
You will help maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere by remaining attentive to guest needs while working in public outdoor areas. You may assist with basic guest enquiries, provide directions, and refer requests or concerns to the appropriate team member.
You will follow venue procedures relating to landscaping standards, hygiene, health and safety, chemical handling, environmental care, security, lost property, privacy, emergency situations, and access to restricted areas. You will report incidents, hazards, damage, blocked pathways, fallen branches, or unusual activity promptly to a supervisor or manager.
You will be expected to work flexibly according to operational requirements. This may include supporting busy service periods, weekends, public holidays, early morning starts, evening shifts, special events, wet‑weather preparation, and post‑event grounds maintenance activities.
Because you will work in areas visible to guests, you will remain professional, discreet, well-presented, helpful, and respectful at all times. You will help ensure that every outdoor area reflects Savaya Group’s standards, brand identity, commitment to hospitality, and attention to detail.
